The presence of the Lord under an open Heaven— Peace, Rest, Relaxation and fun.  God’s Shalom.

You know you long for it!

This is the vision the Lord has given Rev. Ginger Jones Holland for Crossroads Prayer Retreat.

Many people are seeking a place for restoration, healing and purpose-  away from  work, church or relationship stress.  An anointed place to listen to the Lord…    Crossroads Prayer Retreat near Pickwick Lake and Shiloh Park is just such a place.

The lodge is to be by the lake — a beautiful yet simple and natural place of peace.  Nothing to take away God’s presence or cause you to look at it instead of Him.  Cabins will be in the trees hidden in the woods for a secluded setting — some rustic and some more comfortable for adults.  I’d love to build a covered open air basketball gym/concert area.  There’s amazing space for a huge meeting place later if there is need.  There is plenty room for sports fields, zip lines, prayer walking areas, gardens.

I see pastors and builders coming and giving their time and ability to help build.  A family or a church could sponsor the building of a cabin, basketball court, greenhouse, dining hall,  worship center…. (I see one with lots of windows…)

160 acres with an 8 acre lake and a pond is being donated to Crossroads Prayer Retreat by the Pierce family in memory of their parents.  This property is adjacent to the Tennessee end of Ginger Holland’s farm. Ginger chartered Crossroads Prayer Retreat as a non-profit corporation in December 2017.    We received 501c3 status June 27, 2018!

Once the lodge is finished, the target audience is especially pastors, spouses, and their children, , but everyone will be welcome as space allows. Couples, families, women’s, men’s and youth groups, VBS day camps, fall festival hay rides, church staffs, small Christian weddings or other groups–  We will grow as resources and need grow.

There are so many possibilities–  sports fields, soccer camp for children or youth with Christ at the center  (mind, body, spirit)  cross country trails, zip line, hiking over creeks and by nature’s artwork in the trees and ferns, prayer walking around the lake or under a canopy cathedral of trees on the old Hamburg Road that meanders through the middle of Ginger’s farm.

Music events that draw you into His presence—concerts in the glory!

A place to soak…  to read…  or write a book… or a song.

I’m not aware of anything exactly like the vision the Lord has given me.  It thrills me to think what can be.   It will be Holy Spirit led and for anyone.

I answered a call to ministry in Corinth at 12 years old.  I’ve been involved in ministry since High School — working with youth groups, Youth Ministry at Lake Junaluska Assembly near Asheville, North Carolina then statewide youth, campus ministry and education ministry, short term missions, pastoring churches and now healing, prayer and deliverance ministries.  God has brought me down many roads – some have been hard and taught me many things.

Early in life, I always loved my dad’s family farm.   When I was younger, I dreamed of a camping and retreat ministry.   Now at 56, it has changed to include a comprehensive ministry which would involve being able to listen to the Lord and obey!  My heart is for clergy families — ministry to especially young adult women and children –ministry to the broken and those who haven’t found purpose.  Prophetic listening prayer and training Christians to listen to the Lord and pray with and for one another.

I am a musician and worshiper.  God has connected me with many worshipers over the years.  I want to enable people to come into the Lord’s presence through music and to bring the teachers and learners together so that future generations will faithfully worship.

I see a greenhouse and growing healthy foods — serving those foods to people who come.   I would love to explore aquaponics with tilapia or hydroponics for ease of harvesting.   There is a fenced in area going down to the lake which will be a perfect place to grow food.  My cousin recently retired as the Master Gardener for Mississippi State University and lives in Corinth.  She has agreed to help with the gardening and establishing the greenhouse.

Can you see it?  I am starting immediately on the groundwork for the lodge and cabins on the back side of the lake.  WILL NEED HELP!
